I think I got a little carried away...
*Character Name(s): Michichael Krasnov
*Race/Species: Two tailed fox were
*Gender: Male
Actual Character Age: 20
Home Territory(Place of Origin): New York City
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 175lbs
Physical Build: Fit.
*Physical Description: The were-fox stands nearly seven feet tall. He has two luxurious, long tails, which are tipped brown, like his ears, and paws. His main coat of fur is mostly a deep black, almost blood red in certain lights, and is a semi-long coat. His underfur is a dark brown, red tinged hue, standard of a fox pattern. He has variable eye-color, which varies based on his mood. He has a relaxed, but always ready posture and demeanor. His clothing is generally loose and light, his fur providing him effective cover and shelter from the cold, but more of a hindrance in hot areas.
As a human he is a little more than six feet tall. He prefers loose clothing, and when he's working, his lab coat. His eye-color is still variable, and skin a light shade, slightly tanned, but it's obvious he doesn't get out much during the day. He is clean shaven with disheveled brown hair. He has excellent eyesight.
Personal Information/History/Background:
He doesn't remember much about his life before Monolith. He knew he was a shifter, a were-fox, and had learned to control it. It was a risk, but the pay rate was simply too good to turn up, so he accepted a position at Monolith, knowing their stance on weres. He worked diligently, never being detected as a were, making weapons and new technologies for Monolith, until...
It was late, and his superiors wanted this new energy rifle finished yesterday. They didn't like the non lethal aspect of it, and wanted him to increase it's output, and raise the frequency of the shock wave so that even if it didn't kill a shifted person, it would permanently deafen them. He didn't like this notion at all, and considered telling them the device wouldn't be able to perform such a task. No matter, he'd think of something. He always does.
"Damn, looks like I'm not getting home anytime tonight.. need more coffee." He said to himself, punching in his access code and heading to the employee break area. He was so tired and stressed, that as he went for coffee, he didn't realize his tails were out, and wagging merrily behind him, or that his ears were perked and swiveling. He didn't know he was fully shifted, right underneath the scrutiny of a corporation built on hating his kind.
"Hey Jacklyn." He stated, waving to a coworker, who stared at him, dropping her stack of mail and taking off. "What's her problem?" He wondered, pouring his cup. It wasn't until after he had returned to the lab, and he attempted to drink, that he realized what had happened, after all.. cups just aren't designed for a canines muzzle. *ALERT. ALERT. INTRUDER DETECTED IN WRD1.*
"Shit." It was with this that he grabbed the only functioning things in the room - the energy rifle he was getting ready to modify, and the dagger, a strange artifact a fellow shifter gave him as a child, which he always kept close, using it as a letter opener to excuse it's presence. He quickly punched in his exit code, grabbing a few spare power cells, and fired a single burst orb into the room. "The moment somebody touched that, every bit of research data and electronic equipment in that room should be toast," he thought, dodging into a closet a little ways down the hall and hiding. Just in time, too, as the pounding of security's boots could be heard down the hall, and the sharp metallic clicks of the readying of their hidden weapons reached his vulpine ears.
"Michichael! We just wanna talk to you buddy! Come on out. Just wanna make sure you're doing alright man. We don't wanna hurt you!" "Stun him if he comes out," was the hastily added whisper."
So much for being a friend, thought the were, waiting for his opportunity, loading another power cell into his rifle. Mental note.. get more than two mines from the damned energy sources! Not like it'll matter.. all my research.. all my tools... He sighed to himself, hearing them open the door and spread out just inside the room.
"What the hell is that thing? Get, uh... who the hell would know what to do?!" It was with this statement that the were-fox calmly stepped out of his hiding and approached the door, taking careful aim and firing right at the core of the floating orb, unleashing the electric shock wave, destroying years of data and research, and stunning his opponents. He pulled the fire alarm, and, using his rifle to disable and distract, made his way out of monolith, being forced to take to the streets. Finally, exhausted, he made it to his backup residence, where he believed Monolith couldn't find him, and collapsed, exhausted.
The next day, when his shift had worn off, and after a quick change of clothes and meal, he set out. He'd need a new job, and certainly would need protection, so packed away his rifle in a back room, and grabbed a simple pistol. Monolith would be sure to have a bounty on his head by weeks end, but for now, he needed a drink. Something hard, maybe a shot or two down at the shifter friendly bar. He never could remember it's name.
*Number and Description of Weaponry and Training: Has only the Energy rifle that he stole from Monolith, and a dagger for close range combat.
The energy rifle has two firing modes. It can do single or automatic firing of charged energy projectile beams, or can use a large amount of energy to drop an energy matrix, which can either be dropped or charged with momentum. As a device of pure energy, the bomb like orbs are not affected by gravity, and can last for about five minutes before the matrix collapses and the energy disperses. If it impacts or makes contact with any object, it detonates, releasing a large flash and low frequency shock wave that can stun opponents. If it is shot with any form of energy projectile, the matrix becomes charged and detonates with an EMP as well.
His dagger is the first thing he remembers, it is a simple, yet complex blade - It has a single razor sharp edge, with the other edge flat, and it's not certain how it is fused to the base. The flat edge is decorated in strange runes, the only one of which he can recognize as the depiction of a fox or canide of sorts. It has a purifying effect on him, allowing him to resist the effects many drugs or poisons, though he is not immune. A large enough dose would definitely affect him, but standard doses do not.
* Useful Trinkets or Items: Stored within a small pouch at his waist he stores any electronic components he pilfers. Combined with his nimble paws and dagger as tools he can effectively jury rig electronic devices.
Vehicle: Can travel rapidly on all fours while shifted, human he has no vehicle at the moment.
*Special Skills: He tends to hold the dagger in a reverse grip, bracing it against his wrist defensively, so-as to appear unarmed to those lacking caution. He fights as though unarmed, but can deliver quick cutting blows to his opponents that get within grappling range, using his increased were agility and reflexes to get in close and hamstring or disable his adversaries.
Another skill he has is the ability to modify or improve many weapons and devices, often using this natural affinity for technology to better aid him in avoiding conflict. He can disable and disarm most automated systems using either his dagger as a tool or his rifle as a less subtle, brute force method of disabling.
Final notes - Increased hearing, sense of smell, agility, jumping ability. Poor dawn/dusk vision, but very good otherwise, though not attentive to what he sees, relying on his nose and ears. He's skilled at using his tails for balance and is practicing using them to trip or distract opponents, though this can backfire, giving an opponent the ability to effectively pin him by grabbing him at the base of the tails.
Character's Career: Now exiled and hunted by Monolith, he is now freelance, looking for a new employer, and protection from Monolith.
Fav. Saying/Quote: "There is no absolute morality, only absolute belief in ones morals."
Preferred Food: He prefers a diet of meats, diaries and breads. Pizza is definitely a favorite, as is chicken and French fries.
Info about the player: I go by Michichael anyway O.o.
Connections to Other Characters: None.
Stats:
Intelligence – 8, He's what you'd consider a genious. Or insane. Or both. If he sees something that interests him he'd like nothing more to tinker with it, and can often whip up any electronic solution that is required for a situation, given the opportunity and materials.
Intuition – 2, He's nearly a complete dunce socially, and tends to miss obvious signs and clues on the social aspect, however technologically...
Willpower – 4, He's got a better than average ability to remain focused, and in control, but he is by no means an expert at this, and is apt to lose focus or control under enough strain.
Agility – 8, He is extremely nimble, owing greatly to his vulpine nature, which gives him increased reflexes, even non shifted.
Strength – 3, He works out, but is by no means a melee fighter, and can only do the average amount of lifting and weights.
Endurance – 4, He's not an allstar athelete, but he's got better than average endurance, usually able to go a day or so without a break or sleep. He does get cranky though.
Speed – 6, He's very fleet of foot, and can keep it up too, owing mostly to his vulpine nature, and the rigorous self workouts he puts himself through every morning.
Attractiveness – 7, His vulpine grace does show through in his human form, and it tends to make him a little more aluring than your average tech geek.
