Monolith Corporation had a 3 story mech stolen right before the eyes of a huge crowd yesterday during a technical demonstration of the MC-288 ATB or `Knight-Killer`.
Several armed terrorists supressed the crowd while an unmarked black helicopter of massive size came in to retrieve the mech during what appeared to be a normal cooling cycle. Many of the bystanders and partygoers were hurt, although curiously the entirety of the press pass holders were completely unscathed.
When contacted for comment, Jacob Monolith had declined to speak with us directly. Their press secretary assured us that the company was deeply sorry for the injuries, but the liability clause displayed on the back of their media access forms and security sign in table limits their liability in the event of massive terrorist activity on the grounds of the media pavillion.
The US millitary has expressed huge concern over the concept that terrorists now have the MC-288, and have begun looking into having Monolith create an even bigger and larger quanitiy of the massive metal monstrosities.
The Dept. of Defense had no comment regarding these `rumors`.
